When my hair loss was at its worst, I spent many a late night jumping head first into the rabbit hole of Google searches using every iteration of “why is my hair falling out.” I so desperately wanted to find something, anything, that made me feel just a little bit better, that made me feel not so alone. But all I found was information on hair loss causes and treatments, or sites selling some sort of magic potion (onion juice seemed to be a popular one). There was nothing that helped relieve the massive tension that had built up inside of me, helped shrink the ever growing pit that had taken up residence in my stomach, or let me feel like I could exhale. 
Since I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I decided to create it. Hair Loss Girl Boss is for every woman braving their own hair loss journey in the hopes that this can be a place for support, encouragement, glamor and fun! I created it for the woman who may be headed down the same rabbit hole I used to frequent in the hopes that she will find some sense of peace and go back to sleep. There’s no sugar coating it, hair loss sucks, but I want you to know that you are not alone, that you will find your way through this and somewhere along the way you are going to step back into your confidence and feel like yourself again.

Oh, and of course I should mention that wigs are completely awesome and amazing. They’re kind of my thing. So head up, crown high gorgeous, welcome to the HLGB community!

P.S. I write how I think, just fair warning if you’re a stickler for grammar and punctuation. The correct usage of a semi-colon will forever baffle me.
