I’m Jess, your wig wearing, champagne drinking, Bravo TV obsessed, side part and skinny jean wearing (they have never gone out of style in my opinion), telogen effluvium and androgenetic alopecia hair loss BFF.
A hand-tied wig has each hair individually sewn in or “hand tied” to a soft, flexible material. This type of cap construction allows for the most natural movement in the hair and makes it a bit easier to style than a wefted wig. Hand-tied wigs are more labor-intensive to construct, therefore they are typically more expensive. This type of wig is often said to be the most comfortable due to the soft and flexible material.
